Kobby Blay photo exhibition opens at Aidoo Centre

Adabraka, Accra November 16, 2021

An exhibition of photographs by Kobby Blay has just opened at the Ama Ata Aidoo centre for creative writing. The exhibition is themed “Evolution of Healthcare in Ghana”. It opened last Tuesday November 9 and ends on 30th November 2021. You can view anytime from 10am to 6pm on Mondays to Friday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
This is Ama Ata Aidoo Centre for Creative Writing’s first photo exhibition on AUCC campus.
The photos educate the audience on the work of nurses around the clock in Ghana. It shows the transformation the health care has undergone and the the dedication of healthcare workers and the complex yet sacrificial nature of their jobs.
According to Ellen Gyamfi, presenter of “Pimp’naa” show on campus radio AfroNovaRadio, students can now appreciate more the profession of health workers in Ghana.
The photographer Kobby Blay, a professional nurse and blogger, is also a L200 students at AUCC.
